Compensation Programs Design and Implementation
Base Pay
After clearly validating the objectives of the program for your organization, we will provide support at all stages of the development of the program. Establish and/or validate salary structures both domestic and international, job grades, establish and maintain policies and procedures, prepare salary increase budgets and simulation of costs. We are also able to assist you with the administration/management of your annual performance and salary review processes.Incentive and Bonus Plans
The Brossard Group has extensive experience in the design and implementation of bonus and other incentive plans for non sales employees. Cash bonuses are an important component of compensation packages. Plans need to be carefully designed to ensure that they will deliver a meaningful value to the employees while strengthening the link between pay and performance both at the company and individual level.
Sales Compensation
Sales Compensation is one of the areas where HR professionals can really demonstrate to the rest of the organization how connected they are to the business. Developing and/or updating sales compensation plans is usually a collaborative effort between Finance, Sales and HR. Executive Compensation
The Brossard Group will help you navigate the complexities and subtleties of Executive Compensation. Beyond helping you analyze and collect market information and trends, we will support and assist you at every step of the Executive Compensation review process: preparation of presentation to Compensation Committee, simulations of costs and impact, review of recent trends, support with proxy preparation as well as working with the consultant appointed by the Board of Directors. Our experience is that HR and Total Reward Executives find themselves subject to the sometimes conflicting, sometimes overlapping requests and input from the Comp Committee, management and consultants. Equity Programs
Companies with equity plans are facing challenges that are not only linked to the expensing of equity and the impact on the bottom line. Scrutiny of shareholders on stock dilution, link between pay and performance, market movements, behavior changes in employees are only a few of the elements to take into consideration when designing and implementing a new equity plan. Companies have to arbitrate between employees and expectations of the market and the Board of Directors. The Brossard Group has an extensive experience helping HR Executives to re-design their plans. We can help you in all phases of the process including modeling guidelines in line with dilution and/or costs constraints, providing the market data to support decisions, choosing between equity vehicles based on challenges and specific company situations, and preparing presentations to the Compensation Committee as well as communication to the employees.
